Security Officer - Derby

Position: Security Officer - Derby

Hourly Rate: £12.60 - £14.12* (*Hourly Rate inclusive of holiday pay)

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00 4 on 4 off shift pattern

We are looking for a new Security Officer who champions our values to join our team.

 Our client is a large manufacturer, you will be working in a industrial site.

Your main duties will include

• Monitor and manage site access, ensuring only authorised personnel are admitted.
• Conduct vehicle searches. 
• Monitor the car park and manage traffic flow.
• Conduct regular site patrols to maintain safety and security.
• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and unusual situations.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to team members, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, activities, and any site concerns.
• Monitor CCTV.
• Identify potential hazards and take appropriate action to ensure a safe environment.
• Handle disputes calmly and professionally, maintaining order at all times.
• Act as a visible security presence to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised activity.

Requirements

• SIA Security Guarding Licence (essential).
