Position: Event Security Manager - Drumsheds
Hourly Rate: £18.50 – £22.41

We are looking for someone who passionately champions our values, to join our team as a Venue Security Manager at Drumsheds.

The Venue Security Manager will take responsibility for deployment, venue liaison, and overseeing security operations at Drumsheds. This includes leading on event security delivery and ensuring a safe, professional, and efficient security service for all visitors, team and stakeholders.
Experience working within events at a senior level such as a Head of Security, Area or Operations Manager is essential for this role.
This role is offered as a fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a full-time salaried position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver events alongside clients, events management team and operations team.
- Attending ELT’s with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensuring accurate reporting and recording of incidents, patrols, and interventions.
- Support with team scheduling and resourcing when required.
- Monthly reviews of the risk assessments and assignment instructions to ensure the team is working in a safe environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for team members on event days.
- Act as lead manager for larger events, working alongside Event Silver Command in the control room.
- Deliver post-event debriefs, ensuring continuous improvement and accurate record keeping.
- Use Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to maintain dot plans, reports, security schedules and cost sheets.
- Working collaboratively with the crowd management team to ensure all crowd safety plans are adhered to.
- Overseeing team welfare, ensuring team members are supported, motivated, and operating at their best.
Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence.
- Experience working in a Head of Security, Area or Operations Manager role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in various software tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Preferred Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in event security management.
- Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Spectator safety.
- Level 5 Award in Crowd Safety Management.
- Driving Licence.
Schedule:
- 30 hours per week (evenings and weekends required).

Operations Manager.
