About The Role

Position: Security Account Manager

Package: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience), company vehicle

Location: Birmingham, with travel across the client’s footprint in the UK and Ireland.

Hours: 48 hours over 5 days a week, based around office hours with some evening, weekend and occasional night working

We are looking for someone who passionately champions our values, to join our team as an Account Manager.

This position is primarily based at our client’s Birmingham office, with frequent travel required throughout the UK and Ireland.

Main Duties:

  •  Oversee all aspects of the contract with the client to achieve operational excellence.
  •  Lead and support a team of contract managers to achieve performance goals and KPIs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through integration with the client.
  • Lead and own special project workstreams to support the security partnership as directed by the client.
  • Lead on operational compliance audits, oversee risk assessments, and prepare and lead on SOP development and assignment instructions.
  • Set clear goals for the team and ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Lead the KPI reporting process to ensure high levels of team performance and quality of service.
  • Oversee the incident response process, leading on lessons learned and continuous improvement.
  • Lead on contractual financial requirements, quotation requests and forecasting P&L to ensure a timely security provision is deployed in line with client expectations.
  • Complete any other reasonable duties to support the client, as directed.

Qualifications:

  •  SIA Door Supervision Licence. 
  •  Driving Licence.

Requirements:

  •  5 years of tangible management experience, preferably in an operations or account management role within the security industry or similar.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presenter to a wide range of audiences.
  • Proficiency in various software tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Willingness to travel across the client’s footprint (UK/Ireland), sometimes at short notice.
