Position: Event Security – IDRA Manchester

Hourly Rate: £13.10

Schedule: Saturdays 14:30 – 23:30

We are looking for new Event Security officers who champion our values to join our team keeping people safe at IDRA in Manchester.

With a 4,000 people capacity IDRA will offer one the largest club experiences in Manchester.

An SIA Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role.

Duties include:

• Managing access to the venue and restricted/accredited areas.
• Monitoring guest behaviour in line with venue policies and legal requirements.
• Maintaining safe venue capacity and supporting crowd management.
• Conducting patrols and carrying out searches when required.
• Refusing entry or removing individuals when necessary (including physical intervention where appropriate).
• Protecting venue assets.
• Accurately recording incidents, searches and patrol activity.

Requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Previous experience in nightclub security.
• Experience working at events.

If successful, you will be subject to security screening in accordance with BS 7858:2019.
