Position: Security Operations Manager – Guarding
Package: Salary £40,000– £45,000 Per Annum, Personal Learning and Development Fund, Company Car
Schedule: Monday – Friday 48 hours per week (occasional weekend)

We are currently seeking an experienced individual who shares these values to join our team as an Operations Manager overseeing our regular guarding contracts across the North and Midlands.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring the successful deployment of security officers across various locations in the North of England, while managing your team’s performance and maintaining customer satisfaction.
As Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Area Managers, act as the primary point of contact for our customers and report directly to the Regional Manager.
Frequent travel across the North is required. You will be expected to regularly work from the FGH Security Manchester office, visit customer sites and work from FGH Security's Lancaster office, on occasion (travel outside of your main place of work will be covered by expenses).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of operations management.
- Lead and support your team of Area Managers to meet performance goals and KPIs.
- Monitor and report on KPIs to track the team's performance and quality of service.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and exceptional account management.
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and prepare assignment instructions.
- Set clear goals for the team and ensure high standards are maintained.
- Review and respond to incidents.
- Provide oversight on P&L management.
Qualifications:
- SIA Door Supervision Licence.
- Driving Licence.
Requirements:
- Experience in the security industry.
- 5 years of management experience, preferably in operations or account management role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in various software tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
