Position: Marketing Assistant

Salary: £25,028.64 per annum (pro rata)

Schedule: Part-time or full-time available, Monday – Friday, 25 - 40 hours per week (flexible)

Location:  White Cross Industrial Estate, Alston House, Lancaster LA1 4XQ

This role offers the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional requirements to work evenings and weekends to support social media, photography, and videography content creation. As the Marketing Assistant, you will report directly to the Brand Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages.
• Writing and editing press releases, blogs and case studies.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Creating presentations using PowerPoint.
• Liaising with PR agencies and other external promoters.
• Designing graphic and print content using Canva and/or Adobe.
• Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns. and understand the way users interact with the site(s).
• Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand.
• Attending industry events, conferences and trade shows.
• Proofreading and formatting materials to ensure they meet brand guidelines.

Essential Skills:

• Canva.
• Microsoft Suite.

Desired Skills:

• Adobe Creative Suite.
• Video editing.
• Photography (equipment provided).
• Videography (equipment provided).
