Position: Security Area Manager - Events Manchester
Salary: £30,013 per annum
Schedule: 40 hours per week

We are looking for a new Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of venues in Manchester and surrounding areas.
Experience working with events at a senior level such as a Head of Security, Area or Operations manager is essential for this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of different venues within the sports and live music sector in line with client requirements.
- Attending weekly meetings with clients and stakeholders, as well conducting as regular site visits/ audits.
- Plan and deliver events alongside clients and internal team.
- Support the recruitment team with regular interviews and induction days.
- Create and maintain a skills matrix for each site with up-to-date training records.
- Team scheduling and resourcing.
- Line manage team members from the events north region, focusing on mentoring, coaching and development.
- Work alongside the current Contract and Area Managers to ensure best practice is delivered to all.
- Monthly reviews of the risk assessments and assignment instructions to ensure the team is working in a safe environment.
- Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with the events sector to expand our portfolio.
Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence.
- Experience working in a Head of Security, Area or Operations Manager role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in various software tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Preferred Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in event security management.
- Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Spectator safety.
- Level 5 Award in Crowd Safety Management.
- Driving Licence.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week (evenings and weekends required).
- 60% office based, 40% front-line work.

Operations Manager.
