Position: Learning & Engagement Officer
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40hrs per week (a 30hr per week position could be considered for the right applicant)
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: : Lancaster Office - White Cross Industrial Estate, Alston House, Lancaster LA1 4XQ (with some travelling to other sites)

As our Learning & Engagement Officer, you will assist in building a culture of continuous development and outstanding employee engagement.
Main Duties
- Liaise with our Learning & Development Manager and the FGH Training team to co-ordinate and organise learning activities.
- Liaise with various Heads of Departments and line managers to understand training requirements.
- Track and drive employee CPD with regular learner meetings and initiatives to meet completion targets.
- Identify and run training engagement campaigns with the front line team.
- Maintain a skills gap analysis.
- Draft briefs for FGH Training to create and deliver training for the wider Group.
- Monitor the effectiveness of initiatives through feedback and evaluation and preparing reports.
- Source and manage external training providers.
- Identify and secure apprenticeship funding opportunities.
- Occasionally create and develop learning materials or interactive content.
- Occasionally support FGH Training with invigilation, learner support and administration.
- Occasionally support with succession planning and organisational design projects.
- Occasionally support with other employee engagement initiatives.

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have exceptional and speedy Microsoft and general software skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Take pride in organisation, "clean data" and smart administration.
- Experience or qualifications in Learning and Development, HR or Internal Communications would be great, but is not essential.
- An understanding of the security and stewarding industry and its qualifications would be great, but is not essential.
